System 6 was a series of popular parties held in Brisbane. The organizer and promoter was DJ Thief aka Brenton Crooks. There were multiple rooms/areas playing music genres such as Nu NRG, House, Techno as well as a chillout zone. These parties were hard - known for the hardest sounds in Brisbane at the time.

Labyrinth

Labyrinth was a nightclub that appeared in various inner city hotels in 1993 and 1994. http://www.spaceless.com/gallery/labyrinth.html has a sample of flyers for the club. The music styles played at the club were indie, pop, grunge, metal, manchester and gothic. It was held at the Normanby Hotel and The Actress and the Bishop hotel at various times on Wednesday and Friday nights.
